Rack Unlimited is a privately held company headquartered in Columbus, Ohio. The company was founded by Adam Bednar in March 2009 to provide high quality hosting to customers who demand reliable service and a great value for their money. Rack Unlimited strives to be a host that caters to both large and small sites with owners who require a lot of bandwidth and don’t want to worry about overages. We also strive to fit the needs of site operators who wish to start their own hosting company through our reseller packages or need dedicated resources with our Virtual Private Servers.
Our Datacenter
Rack Unlimited is proudly hosted at the Uber Center run by Netriplex LLC in Asheville, NC. The Uber Center operates a 240 Gigabit network with connections to each of the major networks to ensure great speeds and response times. Internap Flow Control Platform is utilized so that every connection is optimized to follow the shortest path to its destination.
The facility operates 2(N+1) redundant systems for both power and HVAC to ensure maximum uptime. Security and network management are on hand 24/7/365 to provide a secure and reliable facility for mission critical operations.
The Uber Center has a SAS 70 Type II certification proving that it is committed to excellence. A SAS 70 audit ensures that each aspect of the datacenter environment is highly managed and monitored to provide the highest level of performance, security and uptime.
